Gavin Bridge, one of the founding directors of Bristol-based developer Cubex, is leaving the company after 16 years to set up his own independent urban regeneration business, focusing on sustainable mixed-use developments across the UK.
Cubex, launched in 2004 with the backing of Fiera Real Estate, has completed a substantial portfolio of projects across the South West region with particular focus on Bristol. Whilst at Cubex, Gavin has overseen much of the development of the £275M award-winning Finzels Reach by Bristol’s harbourside.
Gavin Bridge says: “The challenge and satisfaction of bringing project like Finzels to fruition has fuelled my appetite for large-scale urban regeneration and I feel the time is now right to pursue my own path.
“I’ve had a very rewarding time at Cubex, where the company has evolved and grown but recognise it is now time for me to pursue new opportunities. I am tremendously excited about the future and will announce more details of my new venture in due course.”
Alex Price, chief executive of Fiera Real Estate and a Director of Cubex says: “Gavin has made an invaluable contribution to Cubex over the past few years and we want to thank him for his hard work, drive and dedication and wish him the very best for the future.
“We understand and respect Gavin’s decision to pursue his own career direction and believe he will continue to make a positive impact in the property industry for many years to come.”
