Skyline Soars with Secure Meters Letting

News: January 2025

Cubex and Fiera Real Estate (“Fiera”) are thrilled to announce that Secure Meters have taken up residence at Skyline, Bristol’s leading Urban logistics scheme.

Secure Meters is a global company which focuses on reducing energy waste and costs. They will be moving into unit 1 at Skyline having secured a 10-year lease, highlighting their confidence in this prime Bristol location.

Skyline boasts market leading ESG credentials including BREEAM Excellent, an EPC A rating along with EV charging points and Photovoltaic panels to encourage the transition to a low carbon economy. Low carbon materials were used during construction whilst also promoting the use of locally sourced goods and materials in line with the wider group’s sustainability targets.

The site was purchased in an off-market transaction in April last year with the Fiera Real Estate Logistics Development Fund UK (“FRELD”), which has now funded 10 logistics developments across the UK.

With no alternate new, speculatively developed stock across the entirety of Bristol, Skyline stands miles above the rest of the supply in the market when it comes to location and quality.

The 75,000 sq ft scheme has 7 units ranging between 4,000 sq ft & 16,000sq ft and is located 1.6 miles south of the M4/M5 interchange and 5 miles north of Bristol city centre with Bristol Parkway mainline station 1 mile away, providing trains to London Paddington in 1hr 15mins.

Neighbouring occupiers including Rolls Royce, Airbus & GKN cement the location as a leading submarket for aeronautical and aerospace manufacturing.

Cubex & Fiera look forward to completing more lettings at the scheme in the coming months.

Christian Wright commented “The letting to Secure Meters confirms that occupier sentiment is back on the rise after a tough 2024 across the board. With interest from several strong covenants circling the scheme, we hope to build on the back of this letting and lock in some more quality tenants to what is the leading urban logistics scheme in the southwest over the coming months.”
